The article says that it will “… combine live-action animatronic characters with CG animation.” I hope that means more of the former with only a sprinkle of the latter. One of more interesting things to note about The Matrix Online is that they have an actual writing team constantly updating the story line of the gameword. Their latest tweak to the Matrix Mythos was to kill The Man himself, Morpheus.
Killing off one of your main heroes only months after a game’s release? I don’t know … it sounds like a desperate attempt to boost interest in the game to me.
