When you open up Windows, you see a Vista

ExtremeTech tells us Why Windows Vista Won’t Suck. After reading the article I have to say that their argument does sound convincing.

And I can guarentee that nearly every trekie out there is itching to get their hands on the OS just so that they can try out the built in voice recognition software. “Computer, Tea. Earl Grey. Hot.”

[I swear I posted this last night, ah well. I'll backdate this post to compensate]

Double Dutch Door

This Orneryboy comic is quite humorus because the realife Orneryboy actualy did this.

It’s good that the handle is on the bottom half of the door. That way in the middle of the night if you open the door and only half of it responds you’ll just get a smack in the face instead of a clothesline to the waist that flips you over the door.

But none of them fit on my widescreen monitor … heh heh heh

Toast points us to not one but two sources of Katamari Damacy Wallpaper. I belive the second one includes a screensaver of the King of All Cosmos and … Katamari toilet paper?

Phhssssshwwwwwpppsshshh

A co-worker directed me to a Gamespot article titled Flashback: NES. The article itself interviews some of the people that worked on the original NES and points out some memorable games. However the video is quite entertaining if you owned a NES from it’s earliest days. Come on, you know you used to blow into the cartridge to get it to work too. It is super effective!

(And yes the title of this post is supposed to be the sound you make when blowing into a NES cartridge … forgive my spelling)

This time he’s fighting back!

Another video that needs no real introduction: Kung-Fu Jesus.

Not incredibly funny, but it is ammusing on a Sunday morning. Kind of blasphemous as well … d’oh.

I’ll admit it … I like S Club 7

Group Hug a site of anonymous confessions. It has the expected stories of secret crushes, lustful affairs and low self esteem rants. Depending on your state of mind it can be emotionally draining or frickin’ hilarious!

Dum de dum doop dum dum dum

A funny little flash animation that remixes scenes from Lord of the Rings into a catchy little diddy.

A Warmer Soupy Butt

This map should be familiar to the locals. Robot Johnny has taken the iconic TTC Subway map and re-labeled it with anagrams of station names.

I love how St. George station is now my roomate’s toe.

Link via that crazy Boing Boing

It should come in all the iPod colours.

Jason beat me to the punch by linking this article about Thomas Pink iPod Tie. Designed to work with the iPod Nano, this silk tie includes a small pocket for the device on the back of the tie and a cable holder near the top of the tie for your earbud cables.

I say earbuds because using your large, DJ style, noise canceling, over the head headphones would look kind of odd. Just a little bit.

Of course ours would have been much bigger.

Mwahaha! I found it! Sure I could get it from the Official Site but this one sounds perfect! Now to get it on my dang phone …
