It’s still there if you’d like to take a seat in it as well

Sometimes when you find an old couch sitting on the sidewalk you just have to sit down and have your photo taken in it.

Of course you want to make sure you clean the couch afterwards. No sense leaving it in a mess.

Remember kids, always wear your saftey equipment when vaccuming street couches in the middle of the night. It’s for your own good.

I could not resist

Okay one more: “Head over Heels” by Tears for Fears. The video was filmed in the Victora College library of UofT. Because of it, the library now as a strict “no film production” policy. I don’t know why though as the video itself is pretty tame.

Including the monkey.

Where geek meets chic

These watches just scream Metrogeek! I must have one!

Neighborhood # 5 (Buddhist Palm)

I haven’t had a chance to take a look at this one but it sounds interesting. Along the same lines as Kill Bill vs. Super Mario Bros. we have Kung Fu Hustle vs. Arcade Fire. Let me know how it is.

A man and a woman can have a naked relationship

Another NSFW clip, this time the trailer to a “yakuzasploitation” flick from the 70’s called “Female Yakuza Tale“, the follow up to “Sex and Fury”.

“Ocho is accidentally captured by a drug trafficking cartel who use Chinese women to smuggle drugs into Japan by hiding it in their vaginas. She is tortured, and manages to escape, fighting both the male yakuzas and a gang of female thieves.”

Sounds very interesting … and afterall fighting buck naked is very hard to do.

Commence laser dodging!

Don’t you know who I am? I’m the Juggernaut, Bitch!

Er, perhaps a little NSFW because of some cussing.

In a day or two

Yay I found it!

A-ha’s Take On Me music video. Enjoy!

… and watch out when the kareoke mic is passed my way.

It burns!

Speaking of Retro Gaming, 15 years ago Philips had their own gaming system called CD-i. The system was pretty much a flop, no thanks to a trio of crappy Legend of Zelda games made for that system. Now to their credit Nintendo didn’t actual produce the games, they just licened out the characters. The results are far from what you’d expect from a game involving Link, Gannon and Princess Zelda.

Kotaku points us to the opening and ending sequences of two of those games: Link: The Faces of Evil and Zelda: The Wand of Gamelon. Ouch.

I’d feel pretty let down if I could beat the final boss of a game just by throwing a single object at them.

Old School Revolution!

In his keynote speech yesterday at the Game Developers Conference, Nintendo’s Mr. Satoru Iwata dropped the big bomb. They upcoming next generation platform, still titled Revolution, will not only allow you to download all of Nintendo’s back catalog of games, it will also give you access to all the old Sega Genesis and Turbo Grafix 16 titles! Holy old school gaming Batman! All those games will be accessible via download. Not sure if there’s going to be a charge for it though.

I love rock and roll

Let’s review the checklist:

  • Playstation 2
  • Xbox
  • Xbox Headset
  • Guitar Hero Guitar
  • Guitar Hero for the PS2
  • Karaoke Revolution Party for the Xbox
  • Two televisions
  • A forgiving wife
  • Plenty of free time

Great, now we can Rock at two video games at once!

TBit can I borrow your Xbox?
