I would’ve just emailed you, but can’t find an email address here. I have Digitalibiz and am trying to get MType (any version!) to work on a new site I’m setting up, and can’t get it. I see you’ve got it running. If you can help me, that’d be great, with these questions:
1) What did you use for the path for Perl? I found what Digitalibiz says it is, but the cgi scripts still won’t load.
2) Did you have to do anything with permissions, either yourself or through Digitalibiz technicians? I’ve put all the scripts in cgi-bin/mt
3) Could you send me your mt.cfg file and maybe your mt-check.cgi file? I can’t get anything to run.
Again, sorry for using your comments forum like this, but couldn’t find an email address. Any help is appreciated.

My response would be: the odds that someone would know the answer about a specific host like Digitalibiz are super-slim, and I assume tripledoubleyou knows the answer, since I know he uses Digitalibiz. I did a search on the MT message board for Digitalibiz and didn’t find the answer. Would you call everyone in the yellow pages if you knew someone in particular had the answer? Probably not.

I agree with TBIT that someone’s comments isn’t the place to ask that question. Logic would say if you can’t find the email and want to ask the question you could easily say: “Excuse me, but I have a question regarding *whatever,* if you would be willing to answer said question, please email me at newb@asdf.who.”
And adding that “Lighten up” comment is just trolling. Shame on you.

Y’all are so mean, where’s the good naturedness (is that a word?) I was hoping to see? The guy has a legit question and is seeking help, I see nothing wrong in that. And in the end, it’s only up to TripleDub to judge what is, or isn’t, valid for his blog.
