I have problems pressing pants properly as well

While I appreciate the milder weather we are having right now, it does pose a bit of a problem for me. When the weather is colder my work attire usually consists of a sweater or a light fleece jacket worn on top of a dress shirt and slacks. Not only would this ensemble keep me warm in the office it would also let me get away with not ironing my dress shirts.

Now that the weather is warmer I do not need an extra sweater or jacket. This is where the problem lies: with no second layer, my dress shirts are exposed meaning I can’t get away with wearing them un-ironed. Blast. I am not the biggest fan of ironing clothes; mainly because it takes me so long to complete one shirt. Things would probably go faster if I bought a proper ironing board instead of using the half-sized one that sits on the kitchen table. Ugh.

I know, I know, I lead such a difficult life. Humor me, it’s my blog after all.

Electronic Drumkit T-Shirt

Think Geek has just come out with an Electronic Drumkit T-Shirt. This high tech top has a touch sensitive picture of a drum kit emblazoned on the front. Tap any of the drum kit items with your fingers and the appropriate sound plays!

Electronic Drumkit T-Shirt Exclusively from ThinkGeek

Note that in this video the top was wired for sound. I imagine it’s real life volume would be alright; probably enough to entertain a small crowd. Still there is no denying that this shirt does rock.

A gold star for the first person who mods this to make it work with Rock Band.

As you wish

I think they boys and girls at Think Geek are big fans of a certain movie.

Anybody want a peanut?Have fun storming the castle
InconceivableMy name is Inigo Montoya

Not that I am complaining, I am a big fan of the movie as well. I just wish I saw these before I had placed my order for an 8-bit tie.

Geeky watches FTW!

Gizmodo recently linked to this 70’s styled Fossil watch. I’ve had this watch for over a year now and I love it. I’ve even taken to calling it my Morpher from time to time.

Although Gizmodo’s little write up did freak me out a bit:

“Now you can be like James Bond’s dorky younger brother, who stayed at home watching A Clockwork Orange and reading Silver Surfer comic books.”

Hey! Stanley Kubrick’s A Clockwork Orange is one of my favourite movies, and I love Silver Surfer comics … freaky ….

So many f-words for online shopping

Function dictates the need for a larger bag. Something I can carry my lunch in on top of the books and other knick knacks I’ll need during a workday.

Fashion dictates a shoulder or messenger bag. Baby I was sporting these things well before they were in.

Familiarity dictates the need for a yakpak bag, preferably this one. My current bag comes from them and I love it to death. Their lifetime warranties and exchange policy also helps season the pot.

Finance dictates the extra $35 dollars for shipping/handling/cross border fees is way too much. *le sigh*

Futility dictates I look locally for a new bag.

You knew this t-shirt was coming,

From the good folks over at Offword Designs. Yes, that Leeroy. Good jokes don’t get old, they just get made into t-shirts.

A messenger bag to you Rudy

I have been happily toating around a Yak Pak messenger bag for several years now. Although the one I have right now has a lifetime warranty, it still doesn’t stop me from peeking at their website from time to time. The Railroad looks very nice.

But one of the best deals on that site is their 3 Random Bags for $10 offer. For a thousand pennies you get 3 random bags from their discontinued/prototype stock. I’ve taken advantage of that deal twice and was happily suprised on both occasions.

Keep the dream alive

More lovely shirts from Defunker. Great designs but what’s with all the hurt little bunny rabbits?

Hurt rabbits make … well, baby rabbits cry.

I’m between a large and x-large just incase you’re wondering

I forgot to mention how much I love Preshrunk. Genius!

You’ll never wear your shirt untucked again

Is your tiny metal belt buckle not living up to its full geek potential? What you need good sir or madam is The Electronic Scrolling LED Belt Buckle. It is big; It is bold; It can store up to 6 preprogrammed messages.

The temptation to buy one of these babies is overwhelming!
